The Arrowhead Conference announced the 2012 All-Conference Baseball Team along with the Most Valuable Players.

Arrowhead Baseball Results from April 24th

Arrowhead Conference baseball results from April 24th.


Carl Sandburg defeated Illinois Valley twice on Tuesday 5-4 and 7-2 and moves over .500 in conference play at 9-7.


The Kishwaukee Kougars hold on to second place in Arrowhead Conference play defeating Sauk Valley twice 4-3 and 7-2.


BlackHawk College held onto first place overall in the Arrowhead by beating Highland twice 3-1 and 11-0.  BlackHawk will need only one more victory in conference play in order to win the Arrowhead.

Tuesday's Arrowhead Recap

BlackHawk remains on top of the Arrowhead conference defeating Illinois Valley twice.  In the first game BlackHawk needed extra innings to beat IVCC 5-3.  BlackHawk won the second game 8-4 and moved to 11-1 in conference.

Kishwaukee took over second place with two five inning wins against Carl Sandburg.  Kish won the first game 14-1 in five innings and the second game 11-1 in five.

Highland got their second win in conference defeating Sauk Valley 8-5 in game two.  Sauk beat Highland 10-2 in game one.

Kishwaukee and Carl Sandburg Split

Carl Sandburg and Kishwaukee split a doubleheader yesterday after rain cancelled Saturday's twin-bill. 

Carl Sandburg won the first game 12-2 and Kishwaukee bounced back to win the second game 14-2.

Both teams are tied in the Arrowhead Conference with 6-4 records.

Sauk Valley Takes Two from Highland

Sauk Valley defeated Highland 8-0 and 4-2 on Saturday to improve to 4-6 in the Arrowhead Conference.  Highland Community College sits at 1-9 in conference play.

BlackHawk beats Illinois Valley Twice

BlackHawk College defeated Illinois Valley twice on Saturday 5-3 and 14-1 to move their conference record to 9-1. 


 Illinois Valley drops to 4-6 in conference.
